The Hub Learning Commons

Student Computer Centre.

The Unitec Library's Hub Learning Commons is for Unitec students and staff only. It is located in the main hub area of Building 110 at Unitec's Mt Albert campus on Carrington Rd. See Unitec maps.

You must show your student ID card if requested by staff. All users must comply with Unitec policies and notices posted on boards, glass walls or screens.

You will need a Unitec login to use the computers and printers/MFDs.
Before you print, copy or scan use the kiosk to add credit to your student ID card. Find out more about printing and copying here

The Centre is staffed by advisors who provide basic technical support for users.

Facilities & equipment

  • 48 computers
  • 3 Apple monitors
  • 2 MFD printers/photocopiers/scanners
  • 1 autoloader kiosk - to top-up money on your ID card
  • Area with wireless services for students to sit, to use their own laptops and other portable devices.

Software and services

The Learning Commons provides internet and wireless services particularly for Unitec student enterprise systems such as Moodle, student email and file storage. We also have a number of software applications available including Microsoft Office and MYOB.
