Renewal limits and loan periods

Items on short loan (course reserve)	Loan periods for short loan items vary, including 2 hours, 4 hours (laptops), 24 hours and 3 days. They are specified on the item label. 2 hour loans can be renewed if the item has not been booked by another borrower. 4 hour loans, 24 hour loans and 3 day loans cannot usually be renewed.

 

Important notes:

• *Some journals can only be read in the library. This is shown on the boxes and individual journals.
• *Hub library DVDs can be issued for 30 days with 2 renewals (ie total of 90 days)
• Your borrowed book/item will be automatically renewed 3 days before the due date, unless someone else has requested it or you’ve reached your renewal limit as set out above. If the item can’t be renewed, we will send you an email reminding you to return it.
• Anyone owing more than $5 in fines or fees may be blocked from borrowing or renewing any further items. More about fines
